Funding Opportunity: International Institute Research Circles

The International Institute, Division of International Studies, and Global Studies are pleased to announce the 2010-2011 competition for International Institute Research Circles.

Research Circles provide up to three years of funding to UW faculty to develop research initiatives that bring together scholars from several disciplines working on broad thematic issues of contemporary and historical concern that encourage trans-area studies and collaboration among International Institute member programs. These initiatives may take various forms and include a combination of activities, including: lectures, thematic workshops, conferences, film series, graduate seminars, research publications, and visiting scholars.

Pre-proposals for Research Circles are due December 3, 2010.
