The Fulbright US Student program (FUSP) competition is open for the 2017-18 academic year. The Fulbright U.S. Student Program is designed to give recent B.S./B.A. graduates, master’s and doctoral candidates, and young professionals and artists opportunities for personal development and international experience. Most grantees plan their own programs. Information about the country programs, types of grants, and the electronic application system can be accessed at http://us.fulbrightonline.org/. Applicants must be US citizens.
The campus application deadline for submission of the electronic application is
11:59 PM on Tuesday, September 13, 2016.
Interview forms are due by 4:00 PM on Thursday, September 8. They can be sent via email as Word or PDF documents to fellow@intl-institute.wisc.edu. The form will be available at http://fellowships.international.wisc.edu/fulbright-us-student-program/.
The campus materials are in the process of being updated and will be available by Tuesday, April 12, 2016 at http://fellowships.international.wisc.edu/fulbright-us-student-program/. Information currently available can still be read to get an idea of the overall process and parts of the application.
If you have questions about the program or any aspect of the grant application, please contact Erin Crawley, fellow@intl-institute.wisc.edu.
NOTE: The Fulbright US Student program administered by the Institute for International Education is a completely separate program from the Fulbright-Hays Doctoral Dissertation Research Abroad competition run by the US Department of Education. They do not share application requirements, systems, or deadlines. Both programs do have campus components to them that do run through the International Fellowships Office.
