Earlier this month15 high school social studies teachers and curriculum planners, most from Wisconsin, left for Rwanda for 30 days.

Led by faculty and staff in the University of Wisconsin-Madison African Studies Program, the group is visiting five cities, including the capital city of Kigali, with video cameras, audio recorders, and photo cameras in tow, to meet with Rwandan educators, students, community leaders.
Most recently they visited Rwanda’s Akagera National Park.
