Dean Michael Knetter – 2009 Economic Forecast

On Tuesday, January 6, Michael Knetter, Dean of the Wisconsin School of Business at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, discussed the economic outlook for 2009 at the Rotary Club of Milwaukee. While his short term outlook is cloudy and turbulent, Knetter has a long term positive outlook. Knetter believes that U.S. companies that have embraced technological change and globalization will be big winners and investors who embrace those companies and international markets broadly will also likely be big winners.
