If you are an undergraduate interested in pursuing a project abroad after you graduate, this session is for you. Undergraduates at all levels are welcome to attend; it’s never too early to find out what you’ll need to do to produce a competitive Fulbright application. If you will be graduating in December 2013 or May 2014, you should begin planning your project this semester.
During this session students will have the opportunity to meet Zig Hampel-Arias, a Fulbright Alumni Ambassador and current graduate student in the Physics department. Zig received a Fulbright grant in 2009-10 to pursue research after he graduated and before starting his graduate degree program. Students will also meet Dr. Erin Crawley, the campus Fulbright Program Advisor and past Fulbright recipient, who has worked with UW-Madison graduating seniors, graduate students, and alumni throughout the Fulbright competition process for over 10 years.
Applicants must be US citizens to be eligible for a grant.
If you are interested in finding out more about the Fulbright program, but are unable to attend the session, contact Erin Crawley, fellow@intl-institute.wisc.edu, to set up an appointment.
