GLOBAL Q&A AMONG STUDENTS, INTERNATIONAL STUDIES’ DEAN
Madison, WI – Gilles Bousquet, the dean of International Studies at UW-Madison, will hold a “Global Q&A” with students on Thursday, February 15 at 4: 00 p.m. in the Red Gym, 716 Langdon St. The Q&A is open to all UW-Madison students, as well as interested faculty and staff.
Are you a student who is looking for more information about the many kinds of international academic opportunities at UW-Madison? Are you wondering if language skills, studying abroad, international studies courses and an international academic internship might be useful in helping you succeed in the global marketplace? Have you already taken several international studies courses and want to share your perspectives with the dean? If you answered yes to any of the above (and even if you didn’t), you may want to plan on attending the Q&A.
Accelerating internationalization is one the university’s strategic priorities. The forum provides an opportunity for students and the dean to discuss international studies on campus as well as learn more about current programs available at UW-Madison.
The Global Q&A is part of International Opportunities Month. For more information on IOM, go to http://www.bus.wisc.edu/ciber/iom/
