From Peru to China to South Africa, 1000 photos were submitted to this year’s Study Abroad Photo Contest. Winners were chosen from four different categories: Natural Landscapes, Urban Landscapes, People and Culture, and Badgers Abroad. Winning photos are currently displayed in the Red Gym Art Gallery, located at 716 Langdon Street on the second floor, until Friday, April 23.
Not only are the top three photos in each category exhibited, winners will also receive prizes and recognition at the annual Photography Contest Award Reception, co-sponsored by the International Academic Programs (IAP) and International Student Services (ISS), and held Thursday, April 22 from 6-7 p.m. in the Red Gym. The event is free and open to the public.
