International Division Staff Excellence Awards

Since 2018, International Division Staff Excellence Awards have recognized exceptional accomplishments and efforts of International Division staff members in their work in support of the mission of the International Division. Each year two awards are given—one to early-career staff and one to later-career staff.

Awards Nomination and Selection Process

Any current International Division staff member can submit nominations. Nominations are accepted via a Qualtrics nomination form (see below).  The current ID CASI co-chairs, who recuse themselves from consideration for awards, monitor submissions.  The 2023 Staff Awards Selection Committee is made up of five representatives from ID administrative units and past award recipients, selected by the International Division Dean in consultation with the current ID CASI co-chairs.  The nominees and nominators in a given year are ineligible to serve on the selection committee that year. The committee recommends one awardee for each category, for a total of two awards. Recipients are recognized at the final ID all-staff meeting of the academic year and receive $1,500.

Awards Nomination Form

The nomination form should be completed by:

1) the PRIMARY NOMINATOR, who is a staff or faculty member in the International Division

2) one or two SUPPORTING NOMINATORS, who are staff, faculty, students or other campus or community members (within or outside of the International Division)

It is the responsibility of the Primary Nominator to ensure that all nomination forms are completed by the deadline.
