The University of Wisconsin-Madison — along with more than 1,500 organizations worldwide — will mark Global Entrepreneurship Week (GEW) Nov. 15-21.
Led by its Office of Corporate Relations, the university is hosting several events on campus with a special emphasis on social entrepreneurship lead by a visit from Grameen America, the highly successful organization that provides affordable micro-loans to financially empower low-income entrepreneurs.
Fourth annual Entrepreneurial Deli
Monday, November 15, 6 p.m.
Lucky Building Food Court, 777 University Ave.
The Entrepreneurial Deli is a fun, interactive event where participants get to engage with local entrepreneurs, join in brief, hands-on presentations and discover what they would need to know if they were interested in starting a business. Co-hosted by Madison MAGNET, the Capital Entrepreneurs and the Office of Corporate Relations’ Wiscontrepreneur initiative.

Grameen America and the Microfinance Movement: Past, Present & Future

One of the highlights of Global Entrepreneurship Week 2010 is two-day visit to campus by representatives of Grameen America, the highly successful organization that provides affordable micro-loans to financially empower low-income entrepreneurs. This talk is free and open to the public but registration is required.
