Photojournalist Lynsey Addario Speaks on Libyan Captivity

UW-Madison Alumni Shadid and Addario Safe After Six Days of Captivity in Libya

International Studies Major alumna and New York Times photojournalist, Lynsey Addario (’95), spoke to the NY Times and NPR about her six days of Libyan captivity with fellow UW-Madison alum  Anthony Shadid (’90), Tyler Hicks, and Stephen Farrell. Shadid, a two-time Pulitzer Prize winning writer, earned his bachelor’s degree in journalism and political science at UW-Madison.
