UW-Madison has the honor of hosting Dr. Balasubramaniam Murali of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) for a series of free talks focusing on development in Afghanistan, careers with the United Nations, and the U.N. Millennium Development Goals, which target poverty, hunger, education, equality, health, and the environment around the world.
Dr. Murali is the Deputy Chief of the South and West Asia Division of the UNDP and also serves as the program adviser for Afghanistan and Iran in the Regional Bureau for Asia & the Pacific. His presentations are open to all and will include:
