In celebration of Black History Month, the UW–Madison Library will host “Haiti: Past and Present” film series beginning February 2, with a showing of the film HAITI, Land of Tragedy, Land of Hope in the Memorial Library Commons. Discussion will follow each viewing. Become a part of this important conversation on Haiti as the world continues to provide relief to victims of the January 12, 2010 earthquake.
The series will run until March 2, 2010 and each film will be shown at 4 p.m. Come for a portion of the viewing, or stay for the entire film.
