Network your way to an international experience

Network your way to an international experience!

Thursday, November 19
4:00-6:00 PM
Union South (check TITU for room)

Come join us during International Education Week for an afternoon of networking with research students from around the world. A panel of Fulbright student scholars from abroad will give brief presentations about their home country, their research here, and why they chose to come to Madison. They will then be joined by seven other international students at different tables and everyone will be invited to speed network. This event is open to students at any level, regardless of their knowledge of the Fulbright program, and will foster international connections for carrying out post-graduation or graduate projects abroad. If you are thinking about a project you want to do abroad and wondering where to start, this is a chance to make connections and learn about first steps. The countries represented will be China, Germany, India, Indonesia, Iran, Kenya, Malaysia, Netherlands, Russia, South Korea and Turkey. Refreshments and tea and coffee will be provided.
This event is sponsored by The International Division, The Wisconsin Fulbright Alumni Association, and the International Fellowships Office.

Registration is not required, but if you are interested in attending or if you have questions about the event, please email intern.wfa@gmail.com or fellow@intl-institute.wisc.edu
