Read a message from UW-Madison’s Pakistani Student Association:
The worst flooding in northwest Pakistan for the past 80 years is now believed to have killed more than 1,500 people; most of them belonging to poor families. Many of these people died as their villages were swept away, leaving almost no infrastructure intact and leaving more than 3 million people homeless and in desperate need of humanitarian assistance. It is time to step forward and help them in their misery.
If you want to help but don’t know how, visit the Pakistani Student Association Home page to see the links to various relief organizations working for this cause. Any help would be highly appreciated.
