Portraits of Compassion in On Wisconsin, Summer 2006
After volunteering at an orphanage in Central America, Ben Schumaker ’03 wanted to help give the children a sense of identity. Now his initiative to recruit high school students to paint the children’s portraits has achieved a success that he never dreamed of.
