Princeton in Asia Information Session

Princeton in Asia (PiA) Info Session for UW Seniors and graduates

Monday, October 14th, 5-6pm
Union South, Alumni Room, 2nd floor
Q&A hosted by two current graduate students, former PiA recipients

Looking for the job of a lifetime?

Before you start grad school, spend the rest of your life in a cubicle or go back to living in your parents’ basement, take a second and envision yourself…as a university teacher in beautiful rural China, exploring floating markets in Thailand, working for the Wall Street Journal in Hong Kong, waking up each morning in a Buddhist temple in Japan, or working for a democracy-building organization during the elections in Cambodia.

Princeton in Asia (http://piaweb.princeton.edu) sponsors over 165 fellowships in 21 countries and is the oldest and largest non-profit organization of its kind, unique in its scope, size, century-long expertise and emphasis on service. PiA arranges fellowships and internships with Asian host organizations in the fields of education, health, international development, environmental advocacy, journalism, engineering, technology, law and business. Fellowships are the means of fostering person-to-person diplomacy, enhancing mutual understanding, serving vulnerable communities with unmet needs and providing transformative experiences for fellows and host communities.

If you feel like adventure is in store for you next year, please join us for a brief, fun Q&A session! Monday, October 14th, 5-6pm. Union South, Alumni Room, 2nd floor.

Contact Dr. Erin Crawley, if you have questions about the session.
