Adam Briggs

Adam Briggs has advised multinational organizations as a legal and compliance executive for over 20 years. A Wausau, Wisconsin native, Adam earned his undergraduate degree from UW–Madison, where he majored in History, Political Science, and East Asian Studies, studied abroad in Beijing, and served in leadership roles including Distinguished Lecture Series Director, Writing Fellow, and House Fellow in Chadbourne Residential College. After graduation, he worked for the U.S. Department of Defense before earning his law degree at Georgetown University.

Adam began his legal career at Godfrey & Kahn in Madison, focusing on international trade, litigation, and regulatory matters. He later joined UPS, leading compliance operations across Asia Pacific and directing international investigations before becoming Associate General Counsel. He also served as Chief Compliance Officer at Mayo Clinic, supporting global strategy and serving on the Audit Committee of a major joint venture hospital in Abu Dhabi. He is currently Vice President and Chief Ethics & Compliance Officer for CSX, a leading rail and intermodal transportation company connecting 26 states and more than 70 ports across the eastern United States and Canada.

Adam lives in northeast Florida with his family and serves on the Board of Directors of the Jacksonville Police Athletic League, a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping young people succeed through education, athletics, mentorship, and leadership programs.
