Maria Vishnevsky

Maria Vishnevsky is the International Relations Manager for the International Division at UW-Madison. Her work involves managing partnerships and collaborations by working closely with faculty and staff to develop and fully execute international agreements. Before coming to the International Division, Maria worked as a Project Manager with Summer Term at UW’s Division of Continuing Studies where she facilitated the implementation of new summer programming and online course development.

Maria studied Russian and Political Science at UW-Madison from 2010-2014, followed by a year of Russian language study through the Russian Flagship Program in Almaty, Kazakhstan. In 2021 she completed her Master’s degree in Russian, East European, and Central Asian Studies with a thesis titled “Exploring the Far North: Variations In Gender Representation Across Russia’s Regions.”
