We think the world of our students, and it’s no surprise to us that our students are already changing the world. Among our best and brightest are students in the first graduating class of Wisconsin International Scholars (WISc). Four years ago, the students were selected to participate in a new enrichment program designed to give a small group of undergraduates an opportunity to participate in internationally-focused academic and co-curricular activities. The program, which is ongoing, includes special faculty-led seminars and travel grants for study abroad. Click here to meet the students.
Another student we would also like to introduce you to is Max Bruner (pictured), a junior majoring in Middle East Studies, political science and International Studies who spent the last year studying Arabic and history in Cairo, Egypt. Bruner was among 65 students from 56 colleges and universities nationwide selected to receive a prestigious Truman Scholarship.
