Menzie D. Chinn is a Professor in the University of Wisconsin’s Robert M. La Follette School of Public Affairs, and the Department of Economics. He served as a senior economist for international financial issues on the White House Council of Economic Advisers from 2000 to 2001. He is currently a Research Associate in the National Bureau of Economic Research, and has been a visiting scholar at the International Monetary Fund, the Congressional Budget Office and the Federal Reserve Board. He served as a WAGE Senior Fellow from Fall 2005- Spring 2008 leading a research collaborative on Current Account Sustainability.
