The talk addresses the issue of the Palestinian-Israel conflict and the possibilities for peace from a unique point of view. While the typical analysis of the conflict has mainly concentrated on regional and global factors, this presentation attempts to analyze the repercussions of the ethnic structure of Israel and its internal political culture on strategies of conflict resolution that have evolved in Israeli society since the early 1990s.
Co-sponsored with the Department of Political Science, Department of Sociology, and the Division of International Studies
