Sylvie Daviet, professor of geography at the Universite de Provence in Aix-en-Provence, was in Madison the first week of February to discuss the upcoming 50th anniversary of the Aix – Madison study abroad program. During her visit, she gave the weekly Yi-Fu Tuan Lecture for the Department of Geography and talked to students of the Professional French Masters Program (PFMP) about her research. She also found time to sit down for a brief Q&A with our staff reporter.
