UW-Madison alumna Mary Jane Curry recently published a book titled “Global Academic Publishing: Policies, Perspectives and Pedagogies.”
Curry earned a Ph.D. from the School of Education’s Department of Curriculum and Instruction in 2000. Today she is an associate professor in the Warner Graduate School of Education and Human Development, at the University of Rochester.
“Global Academic Publishing” reports on the state of academic journal publishing in a wide array of geolinguistic contexts. These different locations include ones with more recent pressure to publish in English, as well as previously under-explored or under-documented contexts.
