Consul General of Japan visits with UW students

Masaharu Yoshida, the Consul General of Japan at Chicago, visited Madison recently, and met informally with a group of UW-Madison students who had traveled recently to Japan, as well as several faculty and staff members, on the Memorial Union Terrace on July 23, 2013.

In May, Charo D’Etcheverry, associate professor of Japanese literature, led a group of 23 undergraduate students to Japan through the new “Kakehashi Project – The Bridge for Tomorrow.”
