UW-Madison’s Hawkins to lead study abroad opportunity in China

If you’re interested in studying comparative education in China next summer, apply to this four-week study abroad program led by School of Education Professor Maggie Hawkins. 
UW Comparative Education in Xian, China gives students many opportunities to learn about Chinese education, meet and get to know Chinese students, and explore the cities of Xian and Beijing. In addition, students will be able to collaborate with Chinese peers and visit schools in order to observe and learn about schooling and teaching.

There are also three days during the program dedicated to visiting local sites in Beijing to deepen students’ understanding of Chinese culture, people and history.
